Pisgah Forest Sliding Rock

Sliding Rock is a family activity on Hwy 276 about mid-way between the entrance of the Pisgah Forest off of Hwy's 64/280 and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Open 7 days a week Sliding Rock has an exit fee of $1.00 per person to help pay for the Life Guards, bathroom/changing areas and general care of the area.

The flow of water makes a natural slide down the rock which empties into a 6' pool of year round cold water.
